Nom Nom Nom Strawberry Banana

Just ate this for dessert...


Shelly's Strawberry Banana Protein Ice Cream

1 cup Vanilla Soy Milk (or Regular Milk)
2 scoops of Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Tablespoon Sugar Free Strawberry Torani Syrup
1 Banana, mashed
3-4 Fresh Strawberries, chopped

Mix together milk, protein, and syrup. I used this gadget to mix it up. It makes it airy and lump free. If you don't have one just toss it in a blender on super high. You want it fluffy almost double in size. Pour into ice cream maker. Pour in mashed banana and chopped strawberries. Follow your machine's instructions for freezing.

You can eat it right away it is soft serve-ish but I like to put it in the freezer to set for an hour.

I served it with a squirt of Land o Lakes Sugar Free Whipped Cream and a drizzle of Smucker's Sugar Free Strawberry Topping.

WoooHoooo! After a lengthy manufacturer backorder (per Amazon), my Cuisinart Ice Cream maker finally came and I'll be making me some of dis shtuff and de udder shtuff and, oh, all those other yummie shtuff's! It's going to be a GREAT spring & summer...thanks to my new "office" machine and Shelly's fabulous recipes! Maybe I should buy a cow?!

i want to make these ice cream recipes but my ice cream maker is a 4qt machine. will it work?

Double the recipe maybe... I double it almost always in the summmer (I don't double the protein though just the milk and flavors) Well what's the worse that can happen, put it in the fridge and it's a very cold protein shake ;)
