Grilled Ham & Cheese Sticks

There's nothing like melted gooey cheese. This gives me my fix when I'm jonesing for a grilled cheese sandwich. It's a breadless ('cause that's how I roll) grilled ham & cheese sandwich. A super easy snack or quick lunch with soup, green salad or fruit on the side or YUM! my breakfast this morning served with scrambled eggs & salsa.

Shelly's Grilled Ham & Cheese Sticks

1 slice Ham
1 Cheddar Cheese Stick

Roll ham around cheese stick. Place seam side down in a non-stick frying pan.

Saute on medium heat, flipping once, till ham is golden and cheese is melty and gooey.

Try my Turkey Avocado version.

I thought the turkey avocado was brilliant and here you go again! Why haven't I tried this yet? I think because I keep buying deli meats that are too thinly sliced. I will definitely remedy that next time I am at the store. Thanks!

Oh man! That is really some food porn today. Imma try to find the ingrediants for you snack mix. I need a little something while at work between "breakfast" and "lunch" (most peoples late lunch and late dinner times") and that would do it. Better than some baked chips.

omG why haven't i thought of this?! So simple, and I roll them up & eat them raw all the time, so why not grill them! Yum! Trying this with pepperoni and mozzarella today, cuz I have it in the fridge! :D

Sautee in oil?

You could use a drop of oil if you aren't using a non-stick pan but ham is pretty oily enough when it cooks not to need it usually.
