BTW... we ALL "won" when you decided to have surgery, as we have all benefitted from your awesome recipies, etc! Thank you so much for sharing with us!
I for one have loved your recipes and have used them to help me follow my journey through the weight loss process. I am now two years (or will be by June 30) and never regret one day. Thank you so much for what you do. Congratulations on your 4 years!!!!
I just had my surgery 6 days ago and feel physically AND mentally scrambled. I'm so very happy that I've found your blog, Shelly. You'll be a perfect start to a support community for me. It's great to know that my love for culinary creativity won't have to suffer. Thanks for being here, thanks for the encouragement, happy birthday and congratulations! Kate, New Mexico
My one year surgiversary is this coming week. Your blog has helped transform me into someone who couldn't cook a thing to someone who enjoys being in the kitchen making healthy food. While your "after" photo is stunning, what is truly stunning is the obvious joy that has been released in you since you had surgery. As I've lost weight, the joy inside me has been set free for the world to see. Sure, I physically look better today but I could give two hoots about that because what brings me greater joy is the joy of knowing that I'm going to live longer and that I don't wake up each day wondering how I'll have enough energy to make it through. Michelle, you give us energy and life through your encouragement. Keep it up! Thanks!
Happy surgiversary and early Birthday! You continue to inspire me on a daily basis, and I look forward to checking your blog every day. You have also "inspired" me to buy a lot of things on Amazon...hopefully I won't have to add an ice cream maker, and can win one instead! My surgery is finally scheduled for 7/1! Yeah!
Holy crap! Is that what you look like? The pics at the bottom on the slide show don't do you justice. You are a stunner - and soooo thin now. Look at those collar bones. What a fantastic accomplishment.
You look amazing. I love the hair color and style. Congratulations on an your amazing journey thus far. I'm one year into my own journey and am down 100+ lbs and 7 sizes. Thanks for this blog, I enjoy it so much.
I am 4 days post-op and I'm so excited to try your recipes! I was very concerned that I might get tired of the same thing all the time, but there's no way I will with sooooooo many awesome things to try! Thank you for providing us with inspiration and hope for a MUCH better life;-)

I hear so often people that gain after a year out and there's really only a few that I can recall that are true success stories and you always are at the top of that list. Congratulations!
