OAC's #YWM2013 Live-Stream Schedule

As most of you are aware the 2nd Annual Your Weight Matters National Convention is taking place August 15 – 18 in Phoenix, AZ. A weekend of EDUCATION from the nation’s leading obesity experts, ADVOCACY and SUPPORT.

EDUCATION is one of the pillars of the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC)'s mission and the OAC wants to make sure that everyone who would benefit from the access to valuable tools and resources to help them in their journey with health can do so even if you can't make the trip to Phoenix.

They have arranged to live-stream FIVE of the educational sessions!

While NOTHING compares to sharing the experience of Convention in person (it's AMAZING) this is a great glimpse into the event for those unable to attend.

Here is the link to access all of the live-streamed educational sessions: http://www.ywmconvention.com/ywm2013-live-stream/ The links on YouTube will go live at the times listed in the graphic above.

During the Teaming-Up to Tackle Obesity event, those who can’t attend will also be able to ask questions during the Q&A using http://www.twitter.com/obesityaction and our official #YWM2013 hashtag.

Be sure to follow my tweets too. I'll be tweeting ALL WEEKEND.

I am new to your website. Luckily I haven't had to deal with weight loss surgery, but I do struggle with 15 or 20 extra pounds all the time. I LOVE your website. I love your ideas and your relationship to food, and I find myself here a couple of times a day reading old posts. I love that you have so many good low-carb ideas, and that you enjoy food because I love to cook. This is a great resource for anyone wanting a healthy food relationship. I'll be back often. Looking forward to your tweets, Michelle! Is the conference always in Phoenix? I've been in Phoenix a lot this summer for family issues.

Keep cool! :) Karen P

Thank you Caroline.

Karen, Thanks. No, it moves around. Last year it was in Dallas, TX, this year Phoenix and next year's location will be announced soon.

You've probably heard this a thousand times now, but I just had the sleeve (I know, not the bypass) on 08/06, and your blog has been a huge support for me, pre-, and now post-op! Thank you for what you do!
