Obesity - Public Service Announcement

I like this PSA. It's non judgmental, doesn't place blame. It just makes you think and offers a link to a great website with lots of suggestions for making healthy changes.

Wow and I used to carry around 150+ extra pounds for YEARS.

Obesity happens one pound at a time. So does prevention.

For fun: What have you lost?

Thanks for posting that. It's a reminder to me that even though it takes work to lose the weight, it's worth every ounce of blood, sweat and tears. I've lost over 170 pounds and still going. Feeling grateful for every pound lost!

As of today, I've lost a total of 53 pounds - that's one Rocky (my adorable dog!)

Hmmm...I've apparently lost an Irish setter. Or two Maddies(my daughter):). I am down 70lbs since my surgery on June 19.

Thanks for sharing the PSA, Shelly. So many people have no idea what it physically feels like to be obese. I have lost 140 pounds. That is over 55% of my former body weight.
