Shelly's Frozen Protein Yogurt (or Pudding) Drops
1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (or Sugar Free Pudding)
3-4 Tablespoons (to taste) of any Protein Powder
Mix together till well combined. Line a baking sheet with wax paper and drop tablespoons of the mixture (yields about 25 drops)

or fill an ice cube tray.
Freeze till solid about 2 hours. Store in the freezer (up to a week or so) and pop a few in your mouth whenever you want a frozen protein treat or add to smoothies for an extra protein boost instead of ice.
In this batch I used Celebrate ENS in Strawberry & Chocolate Milk. I had weight loss surgery in one of the hottest summers on record. I would have LOVED these that summer. I kept hearing the music of the ice cream truck driving by the house and it about drove me nuts.

Oh, I would have LOVED these when I came home from the hospital after my surgery! It hit triple digits the day after they set me free, and stayed there for 4 gruesome days...
Next summer, these are on my list for sure!
Thanks!
now that is an awesome idea! I'm a little over a week post op and I'm getting a little bored with my pureed stage. I'm going to make those tonight. :)
What a great idea!!! Love this, and will have to try it very very soon!

I made these last night with Chobiani non-far greek yogurt and syntrax banana. Yummy! They will also be good for my hubby once he's has his surgery. Thanks!
You are so clever!! But then I guess you didn't need me to tell you that, did you?
Thanks for another great recipe!!
Hmy bypass surgery on Sept 26, 2006. Lost 72 lbs, then we moved 1100 miles away. Lost all my support. Came to a place where we didn't know a soul. Gained 30 back, but I'm on my way to losing that plus more. Thanks for posting this blog. We need more like it.
Wow what a great healthy snack idea. Yogurt is great for a healthy diet. Did you know that eating yogurt helps reduce bloating and improves your digestion? And it also increases your metabolism allowing the body to burn more calories.
I saw this link of facebook, and darn it, Im making them right now! It's starting to get chilly here in Delaware... boo... but it's still nice to have on hand for when a chocolate craving, gotta have it now hits :-)
I think my first post got erased by accident, so here goes #2:
I saw this link on facebook, and thought why not, so I'm mkaing them right now! It's unfortunately getting a little chilly here in Dela-where (boo...), but these will really come in handy, when I have a gotta have some chocolate right now! craving :-)
I did something similar with the peppermint protein ice cream and used them in shakes -- they were great!
