Yep that's me on the left ;) 5 years ago at 300 pounds and a BMI of 54 I could not imagine I would have ever being included in something like this. There's a life lesson, all of you just starting your journey, like the ad says: Dream Big!

Shelly, I LOVE IT!!! You're right, "Dream big!" is a good motto to have. I know that my post-WLS life has brought me things that I never, ever, EVER could have imagined I'd do before!

Wow shelly, now that is an accomplishment! I compete in figure competitions, and I use your recipes to eat clean and enjoy it...you are a true inspiration, I have been trying to get my picture on a protein container..you beat me!!! You rock.

You've come a long way! I LOVE your blog, Shelly. I have been trying to consume as much of it as possile since I found you a few days ago. I just got my surgery date, November 30th. Thank you for sharing it all. I just turned 44 and am the same weight you were when you started. You have been a big help and inspiration. You have great taste in music too :)
