Breakfast: I've been adding a dollop of cottage cheese to my smoothies lately not only is it a little added protein but it thickens the smoothies. Even if you hate cottage cheese try it this way. I promise you can't tell it's in it and the texture thing which is what most people dislike is gone.
Shelly's Peach Cobbler Cottage Smoothie
8 oz. Vanilla Soy Milk
1 Tablespoon Sugar Free Torani Syrup (I used SF Vanilla)
1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
1/4 cup Cottage Cheese (I used Pineapple Cottage Cheese)
1/2 cup Frozen Peaches (still frozen)
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
dash of Nutmeg
Place liquid in the blender first, then powder, then additions. Blend on low then high till well blended. Top with Sugar Free Whipped Cream and a dash of cinnamon.

Lunch: My Super Cool Bento Box got a workout when I was called to a job (my caterer friend needed an extra hand)
Pink Box (top left): Shelly's Crabby Corn Cakes and a BabyBel Cheese
Orange Box (top right): Shelly's Herbalicious Yogurt Dressing
Blue Box (bottom left): Asparagus Spears and Bell Pepper Slices
Green Box(bottom right): Cherry Tomatoes (from my garden)
Along side: Peach Green Tea Drink Stick
Did you know? Bell peppers contain more Vitamin C than an orange.
Dinner:
Shelly's BBQ Chicken Fajita Tortilla Pizza - Mission Carb Balance Whole Wheat Fajita Size Tortilla topped with BBQ Sauce, sauteed Onions and Peppers, 2 Naked Nuggets, Colby Jack Cheese, a sprinkle of Steak Seasoning
More Eggface Pizza Porn
Snacks:
and a couple of Shelly's Fudgy Chocolate Protein Balls I made these at 3AM when Insomnia reared its ugly head. They freeze great by the way. Just take a couple out into the fridge to defrost when you are needing a chocolate fix.
That is all ;)

Which is always just enough, until we thankfully get the next food porn! Thanks!!!!!
I didn't know that about bell peppers and vitamin C...I swear you're always teaching me something new.
I wanted to tell you that I totally love your site!!! I've been keeping up with you for a while but finally decided to comment. I am 1 year post-op (gatric by-pass) and love it! I bought the super cool bento box but I can't figure out how you keep sloppy stuff in the boxes with no top? I've been putting press n' seal on them but it still leaks. How do you keep it from leaking? Otherwise, I love it.
Thanks for reading the blog. So glad you enjoy it and commented :)
Generally I use the lidded box for anything sloppy and have never have a issue... I haven't done soup or anything don't think I would but salad w/ dressing etc. has been fine. This time I didn't and just wrapped the little box with a piece of foil it thankfully did not leak at all.
Hope this helps,
~Michelle
